Completed 16th Lancers, Battle of Aliwal, January, 1846.

[Viking Bob]

This is a bust from CGS which I have slightly converted to 16th (The Queen's) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons (Lancers). Just to give them their correct title, They were renamed in 1861 to 16th (The Queen's) Lancers.
Finished in acrylic except the flesh , which is in oil. I have one more bust left and may well convert him to a trooper, 13th Light Dragoons 1855.

I have just noticed, that I have painted white piping, down theRight of the jacket, on the 17th Lancers. I will have to paint that out.
