17th Lancers in Crimea

Hey guys,

I'm starting Andrea's 17th lancers figure, and i'm having trouble with figuring out the colour of his trousers...in most of the pictures they look to be a dark grey colour, but in some they look blue...

Any help would be great

Alex, the overalls were definitely a medium gray, with a double white stripe down the outside seams. For home service dress, the 17th had dark blue overalls, but for the Crimean War it was decided to issue the 17th an experimental gray overall.

thanks for the reply - i remembered you had some 17th lancers in your book, and went and took a look, and found out they were indeed grey..and forgot all about letting people know i found the answer to my question !!
