Hi all,
Sorry if I should add this to previous.
With thanks to the response on the conversion of my trumpeter by Moz.
There were so many great comments, I went for different look to the head of the original.
The cap is carved deep so I can build up creases on a layer.
A long way to go but wanted to show that thanks to your drive it will become a reality.
Big thanks to Stu, as I have never sculpted for myself up until now and he has supported and welcomed me to show, and of course Moz :)
It's not finished of course and primer is only so I can see blending needed, helmet is carved to shape so far.
Hope you like progress, any points very welcome

Superb work Gra,
The changes and additions look seamless to the original sculpt.
I am sure that this will be a cracker on completion Mate.

The face reminds me a bit of Sid Hortens work from long ago
Nap
Crikey Kevin your dancing fingers are way down in the barrel.
Good to hear Sid mentioned again.....a fine sculptor ( or were they just modelers in days of yaw?).

Best wishes to you both,
Keith

This is great work Gra, small changes to the face give it a completely different look. To me at the moment he has the look of a seasoned vet.
Well done mate(y)
