1805 - Napoleonic Film

A new film is being shown at some theaters in France. It's the story of two brothers who join Napoleon's Grand Armée in time for the Austerlitz campaign. It seems it's a low budget film, but it has benefited from the performance of many reenacting societies, so the military scenes are impressive. Chances are it won't hit international markets, but you can watch it's trailer video HERE
(being 2+ minutes long, it takes a long time to download, but it's worth it!)

Excellent find Luis!

Looks like it would be interesting. Im not a big fan of napoleonic figures, but any movie made about history is one that I like to watch. Who knows, maybe would have the urge to paint one after watching it! Hopefully it will be on dvd with english subtitles!

Thanks, it does not look too bad. It does not have the "look" of the Duelist, but should help to foster interest in the period.~Gary
