The painting on that shield is better than my figures! and it starts out in only 2 dimensions!
1st time with acrylics - my latest is more crudely painted than that - great stuff.

Well Periklis,
You are a nature talent with acrylic. stay with it. It is better than mine third with acrylic. So i gave it up for the smell of oilpaint.

Not bad for your first attempt at acrylics. If I had to make one suggestion based on the photos it would be that the figure could have used a bit more contrast. Mind you I'm basing this on the pictures which often look different than the figure.~Gary

Gary you are right, this was my first attempt with acrylics. i did one more and then i return to all trusted oils!!!!
