2007 Chicago Show in ..

If anyone is interested.. Fine Scale Modeler was at the Chicago Show last year.. and their once a yr. magazine is out with pictures.. its called..
Great Scale Modeling 2008... its a special issue they publish every year. I am sure
you guys know that.
But it has pictures from the show.. I see Jay's bust in there.. a standard bearer from David Hood... I see Glenn Hamilton's figure... they also show the armor stuff and then they have a section on the AMPS show also. Really nice pictures... I have to take a closer look at it.. but I just skimmed my copy. My husband ordered mine on-line from Fine Scale Modeler.

Its pretty cool.

Hi Dee;

I have to say, it's really quite a thrill to see ones figure in a magazine. Naturally I had to buy several copies for the family.

I was wondering if any of the magazines dedicated to figures had a show report from Chicago? My pictures from the show aren't very good and I really enjoy seeing other peoples work. If anyone is aware of any publications, could they please let me know which issue? Thanks.

Hi Glenn,

It is pretty neat to see your figures in the magazines. I really enjoy
seeing people I have met, in the magazines. The photos are usually
better, or better than what I take with my digital. Historical Miniature
Magazine will probably have the Chicago show in one of their issues.
I will let you know. Because of space issues, I believe, its usually out
almost a year later. But will keep an eye open for you and let you know.
