200mm Ensign for the Colour, Coldstream Guards, 2016

I've finally finished this. The sword isn't fixed so that I can add the Colour when I finally get around to doing it (the figure will then be Ensign to the Colour).

I have played around with printing a pic of a colour onto A4 paper then painting it with pva and shaping it to a photograph of a hanging colour, it wasn't too bad, given practice, I think it would be ok.

That's fine for a one off - I've done the same on a fine cloth, but not so good with a resin flag. The problem was trying to get the battle honour scrolls right (forty four per side!).
