A Fixture
Just took delivery of this figure from Gordon at Mitches Military Models and thoroughly top bloke to deal with he is too.
The figure comes in a very sturdy black cardboard box and is well packaged with plenty of bubble wrap.
There are 16 parts altogether and I found the casting to be extremely crisp and good quality.
The torso comes with the head attached and shows him to be wearing a bandana, the cloth of which comes down over the rear of his neck and onto his Osprey body armour. the bandana can be painted a brown tone to break up the multicam pattern. The picture shows his face with some beard growth. There is also a prr (radio) and accompanying wires clipped to his body armour. There is an antena for the radio included. The picture show the elasticated retainers which secure the magazines in the pouches. There is also a single ear phone on his left side for use with the radio.
The legs show a leg holster for the pistol included which I think is a Sig but don't hold me to that.
Also seen is the Osprey armour groin protector or "Combat Nappy" as the troops call them to protect the vitals against I.E.D.'s.
Here you can see the detailing of the Lowa boots which are just superb along with the arms.
The figure is depicted wearing gloves so if you don't like painting hands..youre quids in.
This picture shows the main L129A1 weapon which comes in 5 parts including the main stock, magazine, Leupold sight, butt and muzzle. Again it is very clean and crisp.
The helmet is depicted having camo scrim on it and there is a seperate chin strap also.
Included is a spare pouch also and here you can see the side arm for attachment on the leg holster.
Conclusion: All in all, a very well presented and well cast figure. There is a high level of detail sculpted into the figure and I will post some WIP shots soon.
