After a good 2010, its time to increase the exposure of Firefly Models and to help with this I've decided to attend some of the various modelling shows in the UK.
Due to the fact that I'm training for the London Marathon in April this year (I'm running at about 40-50 miles per week currently which is a big commitment) I've decided to initially focus on the shows closest to home (which is in the Midlands), so the first two are confirmed:
Sunday 27th March - East Midlands Modelling Show
Hinckley Leisure Centre, Hinckley, Leicestershire - 10.00-4.00
Sunday 15th May - Midland Expo 2011
Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre, Kings Heath, Birmingham - 10.00-11.00
After May I hope to be able to commit to more shows, so if you know of any in your area then please let me know.
I will be taking the full range of Blackdog, Mantis Miniatures, New World Miniatures, Darius Miniatures - plus new suppliers.
At the East Midland Modelling Show I will be launching my own brand new range of figures. These are 54mm resin figures of British World War One troops which I am branding 'Tommys War' - the first two figures are cast and with me now (and look amazing!), I will be selling these and also hope to preview the next two figures in the range - exciting times!
