Hello Planeteers,
Today i've finished my first 28mm figure's project ever!.
I must admit i am really happy with the result.
All of the figures are from Black Hussar Miniatures from Germany, they are awesome im detail and delightful to paint.
I have build the front plaque out of Brownstuff carved the name of the regiment , cutted the end of a cork and added 3 Fleur-de-Lys badges from Historex parts.
The uniform consisted of a grey/white coat and pants, red cuffs and blue vest, silver buttons and silver lace on the hats for officers, silk and silver mixed for troopers.
A little bit of history:

The Régiment de la Reine traced its origin to the Mazarin Français Regiment, which in 1661 was named Régiment de la reine mère (Regiment of the Queen Mother) by Louis XIV as part of a general reorganisation of the French Army. Following the death of Louis' mother Anne of Austria in 1666, the regiment was renamed as the Régiment de la Reine.

Seven Years War

During the Seven Years' War, a battalion of the regiment took part in several battles including Fort Saint Frédéric on Lake George (September 1755), and the taking of Fort Bull and Fort William-Henry. Their greatest victory came at Fort Carillon in 1758 against the forces of General Abercromby. They were then sent to Isle aux Noix in July of that same year, and were absent from the Battle of the Plains of Abraham the following year. However, they did take part at the Battle of Sainte-Foy in 1760, where the British under General Murray were defeated.
Cheers

Thanks for the history lesson. Always good to know. What a wonderful mini scene and setting. Well directed action and co-ordination. The painting is excellent especially on such small people. Well done and enjoy.
Cheers

Great work Daniel, very well disposed troop, even the fallen soldiers, good work with the ground. It´s really nice, I love it.
It seems it took long time to finish it, cause I seen spider web traces over the mounted officer!!!:nailbiting:
