This is mainly painted in actylics using oils just for the flesh and leather straps.
I generally just paint in oils, but have been dabbling in acrylics for a short while, I have to admit I'm quite pleased with the results.

That's impressive painting , thus shows well in a larger picture ...lovely details on the badge and the drum .

Good reversed colours as well on the drummer , nice reds

The pairing work really well together

Malc, I work with acrylics and would be more than ‘quite pleased’ if I could get results like those – I’d be over the moon. I particularly like the way the colours are subdued and not ‘in your face’ strong.

Ha! Just when you claim you can't paint this scale any more, you pull these out of the bag! I really like these.
