Turned out well Roger, the nice piece of timber really finishes it off.
Have you tried my cure all, Tamiya X21 to kill the sheen?

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Carl, I use artists acrylics which dry to a satin finish. Personally I prefer his effect on flats. I suppose what I'm trying to say is the sheen is intentional but it doesn't quite look so shiny in real life as it does in photo's. :)

Roger, superb blues and excellent work on the turban , nice idea to use one of Ulrich's bases looks great.(y)
