I have a bust that was a 3D print from EL Greco. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, nice detail and well made. However if you don't like the paint job you have done, the damn thing won't sink in the Dettol bath. I have tried weighting it down but it just keeps bobbing back up.:)

Moral to this tale.....
Get it right first time.

Happy New Year to all

How about using a jar just big enough to contain the bust, with a little room all around? The bust may float, but the lid would keep most of it submerged? Or is too big for most jars?

Prost!

Hi Brad,
I managed to submerge it by using a container with a clip on lid. I had to find a packing piece to put between the lid and figure. These 3D things bob about like a fishing float.

Cheers

Use a jar with a cork, fill to the rim, plunge the bust or ..., and plug the cork
... Ohh and do that above a sink
