Hello again friends, here I show you one of the last figures I have finished and as you see it is a British officer bearer of the Royal Highlanders Regiment 42. The figure is 75 mm. marketed by Pegaso Models.

Beautiful Jesus. I like the pictures on your blog.
Is the plaquete on the base included with the figure, because that one as well is a beauty.

Hello friends I'm very happy that you like the figure. The grass've done with sea tangle and then airbrushed.

Fantastic work Jesus, a real work of art. I especially like the ground work and would be interested in how it was done.

I had to google "sea tangle" because I have a tiny brain and hadn't heard of it before, the search came up with "kelp". Your base looks nothing like kelp to me so maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks for sharing your awesome work :)

Billy;
I believe it also called Seagrass. It is sold in tight compact balls that you tease out the amount of material you need.

Cheers Paul, still can't find any for sale in uk (unless it's in a basket or a carpet). I probably just need to look a bit harder. Many thanks for the info, every day's a schoolday ;)
