Hello Folks
A bit more progress on Adam McMasters 75mm cuirassier figures. I've utilised the 2 x cuirassiers harassing a British square at Waterloo. I've used11x figures of the 71st Regiment (Highland Light Infantry) to represent a section of the Square with the Cuirassiers practicing their bayonet rattling skills on the outer edge.The Foot figures shown consist of 6 x kneeling, Sergeant firing, Private high port, Private reaching for cartridge and Officer with drummer boy.
I do have other regiments available each consisting of 21 figures made up of 9 x kneeling, 2 x Ensigns with colours, Officer with drummer and 8 x foot figures.
These sets are;
1st Foot Guards
27th Inniskilling Regt.
52nd Oxfordshire Light Infantry
Anyone wishing to add a splash of rifle green to the set can purchase up to 5 x 95th Rifles soldiers (3 x Kneeling and 2 x standing all with fixed swords). As these soldiers often operated in small groups they would seek cover within formed squares for their protection when threatened by cavalry. At Waterloo the two 95th Rifles battalions actually formed their own squares during the massed French cavalry assaults.
Plenty to choose from for the diorama fans with many permutations. You can order as few or as many as you wish. With this in mind I will not include a base for these sets as the choice of placement is at the discretion of the modeller.
Prices;
Single Cuirassier = £60.0
2 x Cuirassiers = £110.00
Officer & Drummer = £40.00
Single foot figure = £25.00
Complete set = £275.00
Shipping
UK £4.50
Europe £10.00
Everywhere else £15.00
I will be casting these to order over the next weeks.If anyone is interested please email only to [email protected] stating your preferences.
Cheers
Gordon.

Now that is what a section of a square should look like. When I played table top war games and had cavalry sniffing my way, I would put in orders to form square. Then I would cross my fingers and wait to see if the dice roll was successful or I'm getting wiped out.

Seeing this brings back those good old memories.

So tempting..........(y)

What a fantastic range of figures; so dynamic. For me it would be a problem of keeping my interest over so many pieces. Pairs in 75mm would be my limit; especially riflemen.

Truly a golden age for Napoleonic figure modellers! More superb figures, I too really like the representation of the square.
