Word of warning: If you're looking to combine them, be aware that the there's a serious mis-match in size between the first of those figures and the fourth. That last one (the legionnaire holding his pilum aloft) is literally a 90 mm figure (measured from the top of his helmet to the soles of his feet). It's sculpted by Viktor Konnov and I've found that a some of his figures tend to be "bigger than advertised". This can be both a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you want to do with them.

I bought both of them with the intention of matching them up in a two-figure vignette - I thought they'd look great together. But the size difference rules that out, they are mutually way off-scale, even though both are sold as "75 mm".

However both are lovely figures in their own right.

Hello Steve,
Thank you for the Tipp, Gary all ready warned me, but you confirmed it to, so I think I will skip the “big guy” because I want to combine them into a scene! The First one pointing with the pilum, do you have some experience with that one ? I’m thinking to get the roman vexillifer from Pegaso with the banner! It’s not wearing any cold dress, but I really like the body position of it!
I hope I can buy it somewhere, right now every shop is out of stock, or I hope somebody will sell it to me
Cheers Steve

Yes, the Romeo legionnaire pointing with his pilum comes in at 80 mm from the top of his helmet to the soles of his feet. He just doesn't work with the other pilum figure because of that 10 mm height difference and also the fact that his entire body is correspondingly smaller in size.

The Pegaso Vexilifer is another Konnov piece, as is the Romeo Signifer. I've just dug them out of the stash to check, and both measure 88 mm. Either or both of those will work with "pilum held aloft" figure.

Basically, the odd man out is the Romeo "pointing with pilum" guy.

I can't help you with the figure wearing the lion's head because I don't have that one.

Hello Steve,
you helped me a lot! Right now I have to re think the project! My center figure would be the centurion what painted last, “my avatar” I measured it, and he is 80mm so I think only the legionary from Romeo pointing with the pilum could be a match! Or I put the other ones maybe lower on the terrain! To avoid any size differences for the eye!
Cheers
Roland
