8th Winconsin/Old Abe

This is my completed full version conversion of Stormtroopers/Carl Reid's 8th Wisconsin "Old Abe"
I started another post a little while ago covering the sculpting work I carried out on the bust, thought I'd show my efforts on the finished article, painted in oils over enamel base colours, hope you like him, apologies for the blurred photos reckon I need a tripod for my camera

Hi Guys ,

I have followed this with Jimbo (inbetween biccy eating) and he has done a really great job , this was his introduction to get him back painting ...so

James ..please do some better pictures (lean the camera on your tummy) so all can see how good a job you have made of this piece ...as well as adding legs which IMO has improved the piece (blimey did I really say that!!!)

Hi Mate
I have also seen this in the flesh while fighting Kev for the Choc biscuits and Jim has done a cracking job it's a brilliant pose great movement , and a great paint job .
Jim I will drop that blue back card for you and a tripod , then all can see what a cracking job this conversion is .
