Nice work.
Next time you should paint the eyeball with a offwhite. For example lighter skintone.
Then paint a black circle into the white eyeball.
In that you paint the blue iris.
And if you dare: paint in the blue a black pupil (its nothing more then a very small black dot.)
If everything is dry, you can paint a white highlight into the blue.

But this should be done with try and error. W.a.w: try, correct, try untill you are satisfied.

Nice work Tony.
Marc's advice is very good.
There's a very useful description in PF's Articles on eye painting by Mark Benette.

Hi Tony

Catching up ...again!!

Well done on completing this piece ..as you said it's a great sculpt , I really enjoyed painting mine and you have done well and taking on board comments which is what PF is all about

Nice one, this is the fourth I have seen and they are all different in one way or another. Nice painting on the reds.
Instead of going for a catchlight in the eye, when its all dry paint in gloss varnish.
