Being a bit of a lazy git with limited scratch building talents I need a bit of help please.
1. I'm looking for a kit of a Venetian gondola in scale 1.32 or 1.35
2. I'm looking for a kit of a subway or train passenger carriage in scale 1.32 or 1.35
The critical thing is cost, as I'm going to be cutting then to bits I don't want to be spending too much.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Derek

A while back and I'm buggered if I can find it now was there not a figure boarding a train Just showed the outside of the carriage

I think it was posted in PF somewhere. If I recall correctly it was of an Italian soldier departing for the front during WW1.

I agree minimart do at least one tram albeit German WW2 era.

No idea about gondolas though. They related to Godzilla? ;-)

Cheers

Del for the train you need to look at '1 Gauge' or Gauge one' railways, they are 1/32 in scale so maybe you might find a carriage suitable but no idea about costs.

Well the ones I found started at £400 !!!
Somehow don't think Del will splash out on one just to cut it up :ROFLMAO:

Thanks guys. It looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and do a bit of scratch building.
Thanks to the heads up from Martin I've managed to find some images for a paper model gondola.
A bit of upscaling and I should be able to print off a template to cut out in Plasticard.

Going to take the subway into town tomorrow and take some photos and then a trip out to the Museum of Transport for some inspiration.

£400!!!!!! The way things are with their franchise I think I can get the real thing from Stagecoach (Virgin) East Coast for that sort of money.
