I'd sort of lost my painting mojo over the festive season partly down to being busy but mainly because of the state of my work bench.
Today I decided to tidy everything up. I started by clearing the junk and putting everything into the appropriate boxes. I then wiped and dusted all surfaces..... so far so good......
Sitting back and thinking this looks pretty good..... time to crack on with one of my near complete pieces.....switched on the desk lamps, adjusted their positions and watched an impressive light show as an avalanche of dust dropped from the shades all over the figure and work surface.
Fortunately the figure was bone dry so a flick or two of a large soft brush and a quick rinse under the tap and normal service was resumed.
A lesson learned.......wet wipes over the lamps every couple of days.

Jeez I think its time to bow out of this company if you lot are on wet wipes and nappies " thats diapers ' for the american members .

Have you lot any idea what wet wipes are doing to the sea

Forget about the sea you should see what they've done to my S bend.

I got down on my knees the other day and went over my bullnose risers with the wet wipes and they came up a treat.

Be warned Roger... that unspoken, unratified agreement is not only legal and binding... but it's also subject to change without notice or further ratification.
Know also that misunderstanding of or noncompliance with the new changes (including the original "secret" agreement and the clauses that have been changed, yet are still in effect when it is seen fit to apply them to a situation wherein the changes do not garner the appropriate response) are subject to the harshest punishments, up to and including summary relationship execution, dismemberment and/or public shaming... as deemed appropriate by the author of the unwritten, nonverbal agreement into which you are bound with or without your knowledge or formal ratification.
The author is happy to make you aware of the above umbrella clauses and any rules, regulations or changes thereof after they have been broken by you... usually after a period of tense silence.
Know also that if at any time it appears that you are starting to fully grasp the workings of the contract, the contract will be instantly dissolved and rewritten without warning or a period of retraining.

So let it be unwritten... So let you be undone

Yours in confusion

I'm happy in the fact that I am rebelling in some small way, as we speak more flat tin figures are on their way from Germany despite the fact I have agreed (several times) that I really have enough and will paint what I have before ordering more. They can bend us but they can't break us. :smug:

They can bend us but they can't break us , You might wish to rephrase that

I get this line quite often even though I try to behave and be good and subservient.
