Here you can see the beautiful military paintings by Augusto Ferrer Dalmau, in a style similar to that of Keith Rocco. His paintings are mostly devoted to the Carlists Wars, a series of three civil wars in Spain that extended for most of the XIX century. Just click on "Pintura Ecuestre-Militar" and enjoy.

I really like his stuff, though I have no clue about the period/conflict. The paintings do have a Rocco feel to them.~Gary

These paintings are brilliant ! I did not know them.
The most evident influence here is that of Cusachs, a military painter of the last part of XIX century, in style and themes.
The conflicts are the civil wars known in Spain as Carlist Wars (Guerras Carlistas). The first (1833-40), the second (1846-49) and the third (1872-76).
Cheers
