A genuine new release honest...

TLB 104 120mm US Marine 1944 with Roscoe the lion cub, mascot of the 28 regt. 5th marines. The 28th was instrumental in the capture of Mount Surabachi on Iwo Jima earning the nickname the Lions of Iwo. Kit is all resin and was sculpted by Alan Ball. Retails for $40.95

Thanks Nap...there's a pretty good book out there that covers this group's efforts written by Major General Fred Haynes. I haven't had time to read it myself, but it comes well recommended (it's on my ever-growing pile of books to read lol). There is also a website dedicated to the group...can't remember for the life of me its URL but if you can find it there's some good stuff there.

Nice part about this kit is that it offers the summer service uniform of the marines which to my knowledge hasn't been offered to date.
