I recently posted a few photos here & on another website. I used the kitspy image cruncher to reduce their size before posting, but when I tried posting on a 3rd website, I was told that I exceeded my bandwidth & couldn't post any more photos. Is this normal? Is there a way to work around this or is there a limit to posting photos? A couple of the pics were the same ones on the 2 sites. Does this make the difference?
Thanks in advance.

Mike

Gordy,

I believe it was timelines. When I hit the 'browse' button to add attachments, that's where I was told that even one photo exceeded bandwidth after I tried attaching a photo to the posting.

ahh - okay, we don't have any control over their site, you would need to contact them -

you should be able to post/upload here and then just 'link' the image elsewhere (just a suggestion)

Gordy,

Actually, I just visited timelines & think I spotted the problem. I'm guessing they have a limit on photos. There were some older photos I posted there a year ago that were probably taking up the limited space available so I deleted them.

Thanks for your help.

Mike

Hi Mike
I had the same problem when posting on the forum you mentioned, there is a maximum amount of space allocated per user account, one you have reached this you have to delete any pictures from you previous posts to be able to upload your new images.

As Gordy mentioned earlier you can link back to an image on another forum by right clicking on the picture on the forum that is displaying the image, go to properties and highlight and copy the picture URL into the post on the other forum, most of the forums around now have the tools to accommodate for this in their messaging system.

Cheers
Tommi
