A facinating find!..... I always wondered how in the Hell, did the Vikings cross the Atlantic, for their very brief colonisation of New-Founland!. (Vinland).. I was thinking they must have had some really big vessels!.. Here is at least is some proof.
 
Up until I saw this Longship I always thought the biggest was the "Long Serpent" which if I remember was around 88 feet.
Thinking of it, a troop ship loaded with Vikings must have been an awful sight if you had just gone to the beach for a picknik.
