Hi!

Can you explain me please why some officers with same uniform, some wore white pants and other gray?
The part of the sleeve near the wrist, in some uniforms was like yellow in others are green. What is the diference?

Thank you in advance.
Pedro.

Not sure about the breeches except possibly one is parade dress one is service ? But those parts on the wrist are called facings and would vary from regiment to regiment. I'm sure somebody with more knowledge of Napoleonics than me will expand further

Steve, Carl and Nap, thank you guy´s for the help but with the correct name "facings" I can take all my doubts.

cheers,

I have a decent hoard of Nappy info... happy to help.
As for the breehes, Officer whites are definitely parade or dress, the greys would be field service (more likely ensigns, lieutenants or captains). Majors and higher would probably wear whites in the field too... Not much mucking about. Regiment rulings may determine what is wore by who.
This chart might help with the facing and lace colours.

I thought I left links to:

It is available from a number of well known on-line outlets along with Franklin's book on British Napoleonic Artillery

Happy modelling,
