I received this new bust from Andrew Carins for review. The figure comes in a sturdy box with foam insert to keep the parts from being broken. Mine arrived in great shape.

Bust consist of 13 parts and a base. The parts are all follows, Torso, Right and Left arms, Head, Helmet, Rocket Launcher or ( Bazooka) Chin strap, handles for the rocket launcher, also a Rocket, and a second launcher on his back, and a base which is cast as water in which our grunt is wading through.

The parts are cast in a grey resin and the castings are very clean. The folds and detail in the vest the bust is wearing is nicely done. There was a very slight seam on the arms but
these were easy to clean up. The face has a youthful appearance which comes across well. The helmet comes with a cloth cover and this is rendered well also.

The Bazooka is cast in 2 parts with separate handles and had a seam running down its length but this should also be easy to remove. There are post on the weapon to glue the two pieces together and these help line everything up. A nice touch.

The Rocket comes in 3 sections head body with fins and a round piece that fits over the fins. This piece is cast nice and thin. Again only a slight seam to clean up. There is a rocket launcher on the figures back it is one piece .

The Helmet chin strap is cast as a separate piece and to in nice and thin.

The base is round and has waves where the bust is pushing through the water.

This is as are all AC Models pieces a very interesting subject. And a little covered subject also. I feel this bust will find a place in many figure painters hands for just this reason.
Bust was kindly supplied by Andrew Carins for this review. Check out his many works as he covers eras that are somewhat forgotten and very interesting.
