Hi Andy,

Well done mate!!! You've done the young "Wilson" proud and I think you have captured both his look and character in this study. The painting also helps set this off I particulary like the way you have handled the rocket and it's launcher, not to mention the wet clothing.

You should be proud of what you have achieved on this project.

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi Andy,
'Wilsons rockets' has really come to life now you've spashed some colour on him, this really is history in 3D. It's truly a SUPERB piece, it's what you do best. The the only problem I have is with the base (this says more about my own hang ups!...) I know it's a bust, but it would be good to see all that is in the original photo, i.e. the water effects extending behind the figure, cropped onto a rectangular base. I've never been a fan of fancy turned wooden bases, and think they detract from the subject matter.... and indeed that's why I've never won anything at shows!
The vc fella, whilst very very good, dosen't seem to have been taken from a photo? Fantastic bit of sculpting, but I don't believe he's real, therefore can't sympathize with his predicament. Again, my own hang ups so just ignore me.
Keep up the excellent work, I really think you're one of the best sculptors out there!
Cheers,
Jon.

Hi Andy,

I love Wilsons Rockets. :D:D:D

It's a superb piece of sculpting and painting and wonderfully true to the original photograph which inspired it. This going on my Xmas wish list.;)

I can't wait to see your next creation.

Well done.

Hello Andy,

A truly superb and masterful rendition in 3D of the famous photograph!

Looks like you're most comfortable in the bigger scales. Follow your bliss.;)

Best wishes,
Quang

Thankyou All for you postive feedback .To tell the truth I was,nt sure how it would turn out as I had trouble with the photography and crossed fingers.I have,nt caught the look in the eyes of the original photo but am happy with the rest.
Quang,I might have found my niche;-)
Thanks again.
Andy
