I paint exclusively in oils ,but have seen some nice results with acrylic inks.Looking for advice.Whats the best inks to get and do they dry matt?

Why do you want to use acrylic inks is it for shadowing large zone ? Or something like around pockets, ropes, under upper eyes lits, or ...
Or is it for instant shadows on 25mm for wargaming ....Large zone, I use ....oils, pockets etc ... sepia India ( China à inks ) with a pen .
Wargaming , there is a special mixture from game workshop , you paint the way you like, than put the figurine in a bath of the mixture or use a large brush to rufly overcoat all with the mixture then with a sponge pass lightly on ...
 
I watched a YouTube video where the author thinned her acrylic paints with inks.

She had a limited palette of inks. She mixed the inks and matched her acrylic color as closely as possible. She then mixed the ink with the acrylic.

She claimed this enhanced flow and color saturation vs. plain, thinned acrylic.
 
Thanks lads for your feedback.I was going to try some inks for enhancing contrasts on my historical figures (not Citadel 28 mm figures)
