Hey Gray,

I took the liberty to fix your spelling error, although I have to say that I would never have noticed it unless you said something :)

As for the method you used for keeping the color wet, I have done something similar.

What I did was mixed the colors, added a tad of extra water, took another round palette to cover it and I put it in the fridge. It stayed good for about 5-6 days, then it kind of dried out. I bet with the tape it would last even longer as it would be a tighter seal.
 
Have any of you acrylic painters tried using a "wet palette"?
I believe you can buy them but it's easy to make them. I know a lot of the 'mini' painters use them and do wet blending with acrylics......think I need to try this
