Treasure Trove!
I started looking at your site as I was about to go to be last night and spend over an hour exploring. As a token of appreciation, perhaps I can throw a little light on print #18 in La Uniformidad de la Guarnicion de Cadiz en 1810: http://www.losejercitosdelrey.es/fernando7/1810_Pereira_Pacheco/1810_Pereira_Pacheco.html
This is not a soldier of the British 87th regiment, but most likely a drummer of the 88th regiment or Connaught Rangers depicted elsewhere in the series. The number of lace stripes is too small and the lace decoration on the sleeves is missing, but this is an example of the British army's custom of reversing the colors of its musicians. The comment that the shako looks like the Portuguese version is quite right, because that is what it is! The British, cyllindrical stovepipe shako of the period would have only had the universal brass badge then in style for all British infantry regiments, though some were differenced according to regiment.
I hope that this is useful to someone, and thanks again!
