The current project on my PC. I thought to make this one a bit more lighthearted and expressive verses a more neutral one. There's still lots to be done and the last photograph shows what the final position of the head will be once finished.

Hi Gary

Good subject , like the facial expression on him and the way the peaks been done

Looking forward to seeing more

Have fun with the 3D

Thanks for the kind words Nap. I wanted to do a bust with a bit more emotion to it. I've always wanted to do a forage cap that has the visor tilted up. Such a detail is one that can be found in many ACW photographs.

Here's a one pic update. I'm working on the folds and hair, which once finished will have me that much closer to completion.

Hi Gary

He is looking good , like the cut of the bugle at the back , the cords add more interest being unusual but no doubt one of many versions

Like the peak position, highlights the facial features

Really enjoyed following the journey on this

Have fun @ the bench

Thanks Nap. The cords, especially those wrapped around the upper part of the bugle were a source of frustration to make. I did make them over again and am still not 100% pleased with them. It's time to give them another try so breaking it down into parts is easier.
