I have been playing around some with my photo shop trying to get some of the pictures Brandy took, enhanced, cropped, and given a more custom look. Let me know what you think about the difference between these and the old gallery. thanks

Hello I guy

I dont like the effects, because for my opinion is it important to see all the nice details you give your figures.
And now I cant see all.
We got the same disscussion at gluetrain.de they optimized there pictures and gave them a branding an other special things you can do with your digital programms.
But where shall this end?
I do a terrible figure(not you, just for example), never go on contest, everytime online in the www. and show every people optimized pictures, maybe with changed colours or anything else, but I cant paint.

I think it is better to present your real pictures. In my opinion.

Look at hz-forum.de in my gallery there are many terrible pictures of mine.
I never want to change it.
Please dont get angry, that s my opinion.
;)

Hello Guy,

I agree with Stephan. It give's nice picture's but where are the beautiful figure's you show us. Now it is a show of photoshop.
I always like your figure's for the grispy details you paint in. I study them to give my skills a push forward.
If you give us thes picture's what shell i learn. Nothing.
No, please Guy, do it for yourself but not for the guys like me who want to learn from you.

Greetings Marc.

Guy,
I think what you have done is great if what you want is an online portfolio; it's very artistic. I guess it sorta depends on what you were looking at getting across; detail vs artistic pinanche...your call. In the end, if you are happy with it, that's the only opinion that should matter... ;)

All the best

patrick

Thanks for the feedback guys (y) I touched the pictures up for end use, or my use only, and would still maintain a gallery with the sbs type and various shots of finished figures. I guess I used the photoshop to give the "Final" shot of an already photographed miniature. I agree, the hazing does cloud detail, and one cannot see the many "extras" that are sometimes painted in. The second gallery was not meant to replace the first, but will be an addition. thanks again
