Hello all ,
I would like to start modern era , NI , Falklands ect,
Do you think as being completely new , I should start on large scale figures and busts,
I have seen a bust I would love to try 1 /9 , but before spending , any advise would be appreciated, ( the bust I mention is NI , with slr and scope )
Thanks you
John

Hello John and welcome to a great website.
Have you ever painted a figure before and in what scale? If the answer is no, then a smaller scale like 54mm might be the way to go until you painting improves.£20 for a small scale figure and upwards of £35-55 for a bust
There are plenty of people on here who are able to give a better answer.
All the best

Hi John

A good question IMO the larger the figure or bust the cleaner the painting is needed , perhaps a smaller piece at a reasonable price like Bob says ( have a look at Mitche Miktary models on e bay they have busts for £10 , not sure if the period you wanted .
