Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows of any manufacturer that does English Longbowmen (or Welsh !!!) in 54 / 60mm

It seems to me that there are a number of knights etc - even they appear light in terms of breadth of range - but there are no archers for this period that I seem to be able to find.

There is one Crecy figure that would work at a push.

Any help would be appreciated.

I wish Chronos would consider them as I have their Napoleonic figures

Cheers

Hi

Crecy models and Pegaso models both do A Welsh and an English archer respectively.

If you’re interested google “Llantrisant Church and archers”. With luck it will throw up information about the origins of some of the archers and the Church keeping safe their pay.

Cheers

Hi Huw

The Crecy model is for the Battle of Creacy - a bit earlier than Agincourt but I might consider him.

The Pegaso figure I believe is the v sign one and non-firing.

Just find it interesting that such an iconic battle appears under represented. An English / Welsh Longbowman was a key feature of the medieval wars of that period.

I should have a look at Perry Miniatures, as they do a whole bunch of longbow archers in 28mm

Thanks but I am after 54mm; have seen the Perry Miniatures on mass and they do look great just too small for me
