Airfix 2014

I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere and thought it might be of some interest. Airfix are to reissue some of their multipose figure sets; US Infantry, British Infantry & German Infantry, to be sold as sets with basic paints included, retail around £10. They are also to reissue the 1/32nd scale (54mm size) WW1 Old Bill Bus, retail price around £25.

No, but I can tell you it wouldn't have been a tenner.

This is good to see for different reasons, nice because they are great for their conversion potential as donor figures, and at the other end of the modelling spectrum, they're well priced for kids or beginners to get into the hobby. Nice one.

I'd go for the bus. Almost bought one in the back streets of Girona [ World Expo 2007]............except some parts were missing.

Seem to remember the figs were about £3-4 and the bus was unobtainable for years - at least, I couldnt get one!!
Just to throw into the mix, Humbrol are introducing new colours, I read on the website, recently!

The bus was quite nice. Hopefully they will have changed the printed card WW1 conversion.

I'll be certain to stock up on all of these re-releases, thanks for the heads up. The are still worthy additions to my stockpile, which has grown dangerously thin of Multipose components.
