Aldamodel bases.

Beautiful bases for the most part, a little criticism, some seem to me to border on ugly, I think that in some cases the eye is drawn away from the work or project that sits atop it and the base would get more attention. Would the standard of the project completed compliment or detract from the
total effect. Observers I feel would be more focused on the base than what sits on it.

Both should sit in unison but should not detract from what you are putting on it or what the modeler is trying to achieve, possibly a case of OTT. Some thoughts or comments perhaps.

Just some thoughts, RobH.

Some of the bases do look a little "busy", but when it's showtime, my eyes usually go straight to the figure. However, I personally wouldn't put a WW2 German in winter uniform/gear on some.

These bases would fit exotic subjects perfectly like Native Americans, Zulus, early Mid-East, etc.

Cool bases, I hope some wind up here in the States.
