Alexander from Young Miniatures

Hammer surprised me by starting work on the Alexander bust he got a couple month back. I told him he should get a bust because its a great opportunity to work on skin tones and so on in a more focused amount.

So last weekend, while neglecting my rather dreary school work, I decided to start working on this fantastic bust of Alexander from Young Miniatures. I was itching to have a go at painting skin again as it is one of my weak points....

The colors of the face and the five o clock shadows are awesome.
The hair is amazing.
Can you give us some information about the colors and paint u used.

The hair has got me, it looks spectacular, the shading in it is outstanding. The flesh tones is also very realistic.

Thank you for the comments so far, Ive asked Hammer to come check the thread out so he can add more info about the colours and so on! Hes busy with school so hasnt been on forums much so I have to do all the work haha

Our site currently has a lot of gaming miniatures, however I myself am finishing up the last two(just knocked another one off this morning) and after they are complete we will be moving onto our sculpts more so.

To break up the sculpting now and then I will likely be looking into doing more busts because they are larger, quicker to assemble, no base work is needed and I enjoy skintones!

If anyone has any recommendations for other busts please let me know!
