Hi everyone,
this is what i am working on at the moment. All done in acrylics. I am always struggling with "flat" leather parts as it is on the inner side of the shield to give it a used look. I am not happy at all with the result i achieved. Has anyone got advice for me? All comments are welcome.

Yes, try using washes and glazes of dark brown (several shades, building up from light to darker, working the wet surface to achieve an uneven result.
