An explanation will be forthcoming after a day or two but I threw in a poll for a laugh

At least you still have the hair cut :hilarious:
Dont forget the Barbour jacket for winter use
Do you reckon the Ron Hills would still fit, I know they stretch but still....:sneaky:

I see you went full AB and painted the wall behind to match mate :woot:

looks like my old school jumper. the older you get less hair on head more everywhere else

I still have the hair but "The hair on the head will be kept short" It used to be past my shoulders once  Now I hate it touching my ears

As promised the explanation
Basically the above mentioned dress code was practically an off duty "uniform" for anyone involved with the Parachute Regt. during the 70's and 80's. For those still not in the know ..
Ron Hills
Ridiculous nylon running trousers that makes anyone's arse look fat. Frequently worn by army wives to shop in the NAAFI thus highlighting their extremely ample curves while walking around the patch with pad brats in tow. Can also be worn to complement white stilettoes and a Berghaus fleece.
Also worn by overweight WRACs and old school, old sweat SNCOs - usually accompanied by a Norgie top and with no undercrackers on so the wedding tackle also does a five mile run! Ron Hill's are ideally complemented by a Barbour jacket worn with old style dessies for that retro off duty ally look. *
And Dessies
Suede sand coloured ankle (usually) boots
