I am calling this done, I will leave it for a few days to see about adding some snow, made a break from painting British/French soldiers during the Napoleonic wars.

Thank you Mobo and Fabrizio,

I have used the Andrea paint set field grey, 6 paints 4 of which are various shades and 2 for shadows
and also Vallejo 830 german field grey WWII

I was so smitten with your reply that I could not help myself. You seem to be suffering from articulated and expressive eloquence.
I shall be popping back to the napoleonic and late victorian period soon but I will undoutedly return to this period also.

I used a couple of Alpine Americans in a vignette a while back, and found them superb.

Cheers Andrew, as you say lovely sculpt's and little clean up. I may well do some more
