Alpine miniatures and American WWII uniform

Hello again everybody!
I haven't been painting lately because of the cold weather here in Central Europe. Now it's perfect so my brushes are getting itchy
I will be following an advice given to me from two modellers from our forum, so the plan is i will buy one miniature, paint it, and strip it off and again till I get some results. I think I'll go for some of the excellent Alpine miniatures but I've got a question. I couldn't find answer to this on this forum yet so: May I ask you how to create an American WWII uniform mix with oil paints please?
