Hi All
Not sure if this has been discussed here already (probably), but can anyone suggest a manufacturer of decent ACW figures in 54mm?
I'm especially interested in Union Army subjects as they seem to be under-represented (except by Shenandoah, who I don't rate to be honest).
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
DS

Hi David

Not sure what scale you fancy (Senandoah's are 54mm)
Pegaso do a couple of similar size as do Art Girona. FER also do some very nice 75's which might appeal as well as having a range of ACW busts. I've found it's worth a browse through manufacturers you like on the usual sites (Historex, SK miniatures and El Greco ) because they sometimes have names which don't pop up when you search, but take a look at those three to get you started :)

Cheers
Paul

Check CASTLE Miniatures website.
We have some ACW figures.

Couple you mght want to look at...

Looking at the topic, I was going to say that you can hardly go to a show and sneeze without knocking over a Civil War figure. Very popular subject!

Check out Model Cellar, too: https://modelcellar.com/ Right now, he features a 75mm Union officer on the landing page. If you search on "civil war", you'll find several others currently in his catalog. Excellent figures!

Prost!

Never seen this one before, I really like it.

However he looks more 1870s Indian Wars to me (not that I claim to be any sort of expert).

I am inclined to think it is an ACW Union cavalryman. The uniform, accoutrements, and the Spencer repeating rifle all match the Civil War era. While many wore the kepi others wore the slouch hat as depicted on the figure.

Chris
