Hi Guys,

Just finished this 1/56 scale diorama, using Rubicon Models kits and figures. The figures have been slightly re animated and have had greatcoats added for the scene. Snow is made from Bicarbonate of Soda, fixed with some of my daughter's hairspray...!

Thanks for looking(y)

Thanks for the comments. Yes, 1/56 is a slightly unusual scale, but was chosen by Rubicon Models ostensibly for the wargaming fraternity, but is a scale which is big enough to have good detail, but small enough to produce some quite "busy" dioramas, without taking up loads of room!!

Check out https://rubiconmodels.co.uk/ as there is a gallery of other's work on there.(y)

Not a scale I was aware of before but looking at the figures they do not lack detail and are nicely proportions unlike some of the smaller scales, nice looking scene Steve and nice work on converting the figures.

Just been on their website, nice selection on vehicles as well, what was quality and build like ?

Daughters hair spray:sneaky: They all say that:D

Cheers
Steve

Cheers Steve! Ive got no hair to use hairspray on...! Rubicon kits are really nicely detailed, simple construction with loads of options. They do a mix of plastic and pewter figures and some of the accessory kits are pewter. They also do a small range of resin kits that are by far the best Ive ever seen!!(y)
