Hello friends of planetfigure,

I have in my hands the second release from the new Greek company Pathos Miniatures of Andreas Motsios (he is also a vivid modeller). It is a bust of an American Sniper, Operation Overlord, Normandy 1944 in 1/10th scale. It is a digital sculpting also and the quality of casting and sculpting is of a high standard as you can see in the attached photos. I had presented the company’s first release here in planetfigure and also this one release has the same very good characteristics. It is casted in High Quality Grey Resin (24 pieces). The only thing that you need is to cut the pieces from the molding blocks and clean some little molding lines and go for painting. The entire bust surface is clean and no air bubbles!!! It is impressive! The surface of this grey resin is very nice with very good detail and the digital sculpting is really excellent! Of course all you have noticed by now that the character of the bust reminds us a well known hero from the popular military movie “Save Private Ryan”. Take a look at the following photos for more information and personal evaluation.

Title: American Sniper, Operation Overlord, Normandy 1944

Hi Stelios ,

I have this its full of details and produced with the usual high standards from Pathos , lots of information in the booklet as well ..the rifle is particularly well sculpted with the scopes ( a choice of 2) being delicately done.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone interested in this period of WW2.

Thanks for the Review

It is a great sculpt, and a nice likeness of Barry Pepper (Pvt. Daniel Jackson) from the movie "Saving Private Ryan".
One minor point, in the movie he was left handed, so likely he would be holding the 1903 Springfield with his hnds reversed........
