AMPS 2010 International Show April 22- 23
With April right around the corner, it is time to start thinking about what you will be taking to the AMPS International 2010 show in Auburn, Indiana. The theme of the spring time Bonanza will be “Bought & Forgot.” Kits more than 9 years old are eligible for the Theme Award, so troll through your stash and pull out a good one! One that you promised yourself you were gonna build but haven’t yet. This will be the second time that the International Convention has been held at the National Military History Center-Home to the WW 2 Victory Museum. The museum holds an impressive 150 vehicles in their collection. Nine of which, like the 251/A are sole survivors from their era.
Some of the biggest names in the hobby industry will be on hand to give informative demonstrations & seminars .You will also be able to stretch that hard earned dollar in AMPS legendary Vendor Room! The early bird catches the worm!
The local area contains plenty of lodging for everyone. For a complete list of hotel accommodations go to this link. The hotels on this list provide special pricing for those attending the AMPS International Convention.
Calling all armor clubs! This is your chance to strut your stuff in the inaugural "AMPS Club Display". The deadline for the Club Display entry is November 1. Each club will receive a 6’table to display their club talents. Contact Sean Lynch (lynch.sean35 “at” gmail.com) or Roy Chow (Roy.Chow “at” aya.yale.edu) for more information.
So start grinding those sprockets, get her in gear, & join us for the AMPS International Convention 2010 in Auburn, Indiana. We’ll see ya’ there.
