Interesting, what are the various putties used ?
Thanks for the info Juan, how does the epoxy putty react to the hotter baking of the sculpey ?
The only problem that I have with the figure are the forearms, way to long! as well as the fingers?
Nice work.
Chris
Actually reacts very well, it did not present any issue on that respect, I bake the sculpey on a vapor pot ( like the one used to bake vegetables) so the heat is not on direct flame based as on an oven, I also have baked the polimer clay wit a hair drayer ( the one use by the girls to dray their hair after they wash it) wit good results for bouth clay the epoxi and the polimer clay.
Interesting, I'm not sure what vapor pot is.. is that like a crock pot ?
I have mixed sculpy recently with epoxy (aves) and it has good results, longer working time and colors the white epoxy so it's not so blinding and it cures well in a toaster oven

that is Gordy you get it, mm tamales for break fast nice jajaja.
Me too, Gordy. I like it. I got the original suggestion (or at least the info that it could be done) from Einion, who mentioned it a while ago in one of his posts. I do like the consistancy, color and working time you get...and after I sculpt with it, I put it in at only 180 degrees, and get a rock hard result.
I had no idea that these materials could be mixed together, and as I go on, I'm finding that many materials that seem totally unrelated to each other can be used in mixtures, combos etc.
A vapor pot to me is a thing that you used to unstuff a childs nose that shoots steam into the room.
Obviously this is something different.
Crock pot, learned that 25 years ago from Bob Bethea, and Mike good, for both drying putty and oil paints.
Keep up the great work.

You are lucky! Here in the midwest US have horrible tamales
@Phil , yes! (we should take that discussion to a new thread )
