Hello Guys,

I was looking a few months second hand at ebay. Now i have found one i find it some expensive.
Before i buy it, could anybody say it is worth the price, or do i save my money for a new figure.

I have this book and was pretty disapointed in it.

Save your money and buy the new figure. There is not much in the way of technique and the info on heraldry, armor, etc can be found either on the internet or in some reference books that will serve you better in the long run.

The back ground, diorama settings and scenery info or techniques are again often repeated elsewhere and the info presented in the book is old news and well known techniques. A couple of hours in front of your computer or some questions asked on this or any of the other forums will grant you the same info and probobly more.

Others may have a differing opinion of it, but I flip through mine now and then solely to look at some of the painting that has been done in there.

The painting of the figures is mediocre and I have seen far better results and better sbs on this forum and Timelines.
