Completed Andrea " French Cuirassier on Horseback (1812) "

Just a quick photo of my nearly finished Andrea " French Cuirassier " 90mm.
Need to touch up horse with darker shadows here and there and I guess that will be it after a few months work. On to my next project...............
Please be my guest to criticize anything you like and sorry for the usual lousy quality of the photo

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I agree with you Ray that it's one of Andrea's best, especially the horse. In my opinion it's one of the best horses I have seen sculpted not to mention the ones Ray Lamb of Poste Militaire did of course. I also managed to get the Andrea mounted Napoleon in 90mm and that too is a beautiful horse although in a much less aggresive pose. It's still packed and sealed but one day it's time will come to see the light of day
There is also another great mounted figure from Andrea called ' The Trophy ' 90mm. Although I like it a lot I think it's too similar to the one I did just now to justify purchasing the kit, but hey, you all know how it is in our hobby, one day you wake up and you just dream of must getting it

(one note: if the leg is dark, the hoof should be darker greyish, if the leg's light, the hoof is tan, to me it stands out a bit this way, nevertheless it's an eye-candy http://hubpages.com/hub/Horse-Hoof-Color).

Thank you Denes for your comments and illuminating me on what colour the hooves should be. To be honest I've seen so many variations that I totally missed this important point. I shall do the necessary corrections when I tackle the shadowing and hope to put some decent photos up soon. Thanks once again.
