I do like this, it is a bit Bill Horan ish,

but I have just tried to see if it was on the andrea site yet and it wasn’t there.
Boy its great that we get to see these things before anybody else

Dave....this is like preview city as far as new releases. Which is great.
It's got a good combination of uniform colours for the later Napoleonic era painter and very nicely composed. The expressions on the faces look very fitting too.
But Bills superb peice, as you mentioned, with the 2 lancers rescuing the wounded Hussar (excuse me if I'm wrong) remains the inspiration for vignettes like this one I'm sure.

Roy.

Slightly reminiscent of artwork in an OOP Blandford book on the Peninsular War, I believe by Mike Chappel. I can't put my hand on my copy at the moment but I think the wounded guy was an artillery driver or somesuch.

It's a very nice piece, and I agree, it will get star treatment around the shows. I have to agree with you Roy, nobody does this sort of thing quite like Bill Horan.

On top of being excellent in it's own right, I reckon this could also make a very good focal point for a wider diorama, either that or they could be on the stage as 'supporting actors' but for that to be the case you'd have to be talking about something truely spectacular!
I've gone and given you all an idea I suppose......good luck.
