I would pick up one of the paint sets, Vallejo, AK or others with the SBS guide/camo style you want in it. That way you have the paints already and don't need to spend more money.
It does say "complete guide to painting with acrylics" which I don't think it is.

I do really like the look of the 1/16 version of this figure
